Seeking Suggestions for the First Course on the List

It's a big decision and it's not too early to begin the deliberations. The first course to play. Should it be a course that no one has yet played? One of the familiar courses that we've all been to a few times? A cheap course? A splurge course? It seems to me that it should be a new course. If we just went out to Casta Del Sol and played a round, it would be a bit odd. For me, the list of new courses is quite long so I'm open to recommendations.
